01 — CIRCULAR BIO-BASED SERVEWARE
Every festival, every show, every after-party: millions of event-goers eat and drink from fossil-based plastic. And most so-called “reusable” alternatives are still made from the same material.
Bye Bye Plastic is raising funds to develop a new generation of bio-based, reusable serveware for events and hospitality. The solution is at our fingertips. The direction is locked in. The project is under funding. And serveware is just the start. We’re continuously exploring materials, circular systems, and biomimicry-led design across the whole sector.

02 — CIRCULAR TRANSITION FUND
The barrier to going plastic-free often isn’t willingness. It’s capital. Transitioning to circular systems takes time, expertise, and often the available cashflow that most events and venues just don’t have sitting around.
The Circular Transition Fund exists to close that gap: helping events and organisers cover the real costs of making a real transition.
RETHINKING MUSIC’S MOST ICONIC FORMAT

03 — 100% PHA VINYL
Vinyl is having its moment. It’s also made from PVC, one of the most environmentally problematic plastics in production. BBP is working with Evolution Music to change that.
We’re developing a 100% PHA vinyl: a bio-based alternative that keeps everything that makes a quality vinyl worth caring about from, and leaves the fossil-based material behind.

We already work 1:1 with events, festivals, venues and global event brands to move them beyond single-use. The next step is taking what we learn in those rooms and using it to clear the path for everyone else.
Supply chain gaps, contract lock-ins, cost barriers, missing know-how. These are the things that stop organisations transitioning, and they repeat everywhere. We’re building the partnerships, tools and shared solutions that remove them at industry level, so circular practice stops being a project and starts being the default.
